Chris did a fabulous job. I was ... well, I don't want to say scared that Jillian would win, because their outfits were my favorites with Christian's a close third, but I really wanted Chris to win something all by himself. YAY! :)

I’m pretty sappy, and I cry at television commercials; I hear the music swell at the credits of a sad movie and I’m the first person to get choked up, but to get choked up constantly about fashion? I don’t know how you’re gonna have a career. If this is how you respond, what happens when you get slammed in the newspaper? Cry? You can’t, you just can’t. I appreciate someone who’s sensitive, but if you’re gonna cry you’ve gotta learn how to cry internally. Because you’re going to have no choice, you’re going to have employees, you’re going to have clients, you’re going to have to deal with the press, and everyone is going to expect you to stay upbeat, regardless of what happens. I do think fashion people have a tendency to be very sensitive, but it’s about figuring out how to turn it into something that’s internalized and private, or, if you wanna cry and bitch and moan, you can do that with a friend, but not in public.

Then I would not be a good fashionista because I cry all the fucking time. I mean, I totally hated Ricky, too, but at the same time I understand the crying bit.

I think the reason I hated Ricky was that he didn't prove that he could be versatile. My benchmark for all good PR designers has been and always will be Jay because he didn't have a rut that he fell into like Kara Saun, Laura, Uli, or Kayne did. Heh, even Austin Scarlett.

Then again, it's all a matter of taste...

Yeah, but I think it's one thing to cry a lot -- I mean, hell, so do I over songs, those Liberty Mutual commercials, my cat being friendly, etc. -- and doing it because everything just means so goddamn much to MY ENTIRE LIFE HOMG. And ever since I've gotten it into my head that he might be faking it, I've started picking up in reruns that he seems to be giving us his Crying Moment every episode, where he makes something life-shatteringly meaningful and then proceeds to give us a few soulful tears.

It's like why I get Andrae's breakdown and not Ricky's continuing sobfest. Andrae's was cathartic, he got it out of the way, and as dramatic as it was, that was Andrae for you. The more I watched Ricky, the more I started to think that he was faking it to make people sympathize with him. Oh, poor Ricky! Look how sensitive he is! Look how everyone's picking on him! And it does strike me as really odd that a guy who can cry over showing up because it's THAT important to his entire future and cried every damn challenge can't even summon a tear when he gets eliminated.

The roommate wanted Jillian to win, me I really wanted Chris to win, he's been kicked off, he deserved to win.

This was Chris' challenge and he knew it. And he did a spectacular job. (And could you imagine what he might have done with Sweet P's diva? She should totally ask him to make something for her.)

I wasn't as fond of Jillian's all by itself, but, yeah, it was good. And Christian's? Well, anything that makes Tim swoon...:) Seriously, it was perfect.

Rami's? Is the current Supergirl. (Check my icon.)

And the only thing I can say about Ricky was that he managed to leave with dignity. Not a tear.
