You know why I'm awesome?

Because I got to leave work early tonight and I didn't even have to take a dent in my paycheck for next week. That is why I rock. \o/

(I seriously don't get why most of the other people I work with stayed. The process coach offered to allow some of us to go home early and take a vacation day for today so that we could keep our sixty-hour paycheck, instead of having to send us home later tonight anyway and leaving us without the option to file for unemployment for the hours we miss 'cause they're overtime. Come on, people. GO HOME. Sheesh.)

So I stopped at Borders since it was the only place open that late that was fairly comfortable and curled up in a chair with a chai and a notebook and wrote out the dialogue for another chapter of the book. Go, me. :)

The chinchillas decided to celebrate my early return by bouncing around their cage like Tribbles hopped up on speed. Okay, yeah, I need to find my headphones or else that's going to drive me up a wall.

Also, Jared and Sandy are awesome, but then you all knew that.
