A few things
Apr. 30th, 2008 01:51 pm-- So, yeah, I ordered this. I couldn't help myself. You know how in every Regency romance there's that woman who's left at home all alone because her nice but distant husband is off having affairs with rent boys and how it's such a scandal? I always want to read THAT story.
Let me tell you how I finished the Bridgerton book about Gregory and mostly wanted to see the story of Lucy getting her ex-fiance a nice fun wife who has no problem with him going out and having sex with his other big gay friends, and okay, you know what I need to ask for for Yuletide? I need to ask for that story, maybe with a bit where he has to have an heir and his awesome new wife that Lucy found for him just doesn't turn him on that way, but she knows what he's up to on the weekends and says, "Oh, why don't you bring your boyfriend into the bedroom to help?" and, OH, MAN. Why did I not have this idea three months ago when I could have written this as a Sandy/Jared/Jensen AU for Bigbang? *headdesk*
-- You know how later on after something happens you always come up with witty and snappy things that you should have said? I've had a few of those since that Hussein Obama bullshit. (Also, did you know the budget surplus at the end of the Clinton presidency was a myth? Trufax. Of course, I have no idea what it had to do with me saying I was much happier with my circumstances when a Democrat was in office than I am with a Republican in office. Oh, and saying that me and Jess being happy just as long as it's not a Republican in the White House is a cheap shot after that Hussein Obama crack? Priceless.)
-- I need to post the rest of my DVDs to Amazon.com. Which is great, because I only have thirty-four hours to write something like twenty thousand words. And then organizing the
apocalyptothon assignments on Friday. And that's the same day we're all supposed to go to the gay bar. *headdesk*
