Twilight teaser trailer -- Otherwise known as the movie I have no desire to see.

The Top 25 Sexiest Movie Couples -- Most of these I totally agree with. And it's not just straight couples, either, which is cool. (Although the gay and lesbian couples on the list aren't exactly a surprise, if you think about it.)

I couldn't get through Twilight, and I tried. It was too much of what I loved twelve years ago and not enough of what I like now.

Having said that, I kinda want to go see the movie now.

Bella screamed Mary Sue and something about Edward treated her seriously rubbed me the wrong way. I couldn't even make it a third of the way through the book.

When I was 15, I would've been all over it. The controlling possessiveness, the sparkles, the Mary Sue, the vampires...my vampire phase hit a decade too early.

Now? That's basically why I couldn't get into it, either. I just think I could stand sitting on my butt for two hours and watching it play out on screen. At the cheap theater. On $0.75 Tuesdays.

Aw, man, I wish we still had our cheap theater. It was dirty, it smelled, and I wouldn't eat the popcorn or touch anything in the bathroom if you paid me, but it was perfect for seeing stuff like this.

ugh, I noticed that too. It's an especially ridiculously statment considering it's Rhett who spends the whole movie pining after her, and the point made at the end of the movie is that Scarlett is strong enough to stand up on her own two feet.
