Hey, I know this is a bit of a late response (ok, understatement) to this comment, but would you mind telling me what interview or press release specified that in the third season of SPN the writers were attempting to make the show appeal to a young, male demographic (males aged 18-34)? If you can remember at this point, that is. I'm doing a study on the representation of female characters on the show (specifically Ellen and Ruby--check my journal for more details, if you're interested), and this information would be very helpful :)
