I am done with season one of Reaper.
1. The CW -- Now with two Antichrists named Sam for the price of one!
Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest.
2. I already knew about the possibility of Sam being the Devil's son when I started rewatching, and for a while there I was totally on board with that. And I still am, for the most part -- he does have all those powers, and the Devil does treat him differently, and Sam really should have rephrased his question to his mom about his "real" father -- but I really wouldn't be surprised if they pulled a last-minute switcheroo on that. On the other hand, I think I like the fact that the show is more straight-forward than that.
3. I really hope Cady doesn't turn out to be the Devil's daughter, too. Those things that happened when she was around only happened when Sam was there, too, right? The only ones I can recall were when he was around and I'm floating a theory that it was just him doing it and it never occurred to him that HE was the one who was the Devil's kid back then but he was psyching himself out and making him think she was doing it.
4. Oh, man, Tony better be back next season. You know, I thought I loved Ken Marino as Vinnie Van Lowe and then he had to show up as the Big Gay Demon.
5. I was on and off with Andi and whether or not I even liked her until she elbowed Sam in the stomach after seeing him behead that one demon and when she met Gladys and made that crack about her horns. Kinda depressing it took me that long to be fully on board the Andi train, but I'll take it.
6. I'm not all kerflaily about Sock but I definitely don't hate him so he turned out better than I thought he would.
In summation, next season I'm going to make more of an effort to keep up with the show. How about we keep our fingers crossed that I get a day job that doesn't suck between now and then, 'kay? :)
