You know, I was thinking about this meme the other day but I completely forgot I wanted to do it until ... well, right now. :)
Supernatural: My go-to guy no matter how badly we're getting along. I have friends who think he treats me badly, I have friends who think he's hella-gorgeous and don't want to hear me complain about how he makes snacks for himself and leaves the kitchen a mess or whatever, but the fact is I'm maybe just a little bit addicted to the attention. Plus, he's pretty and we have these amazing discussions about stuff I love, so I'm not about to give him up.
Project Runway: My best big gay boyfriend EVER. He can be trashy, he can be messy, he can be mean and funny and pretty, but even at the worst of times we're fiercely loyal to one another. If I'm ever arrested he'll be the one sitting next to me saying, "Dude, we fucked up."
Top Chef: That friend that inadvertantly makes me feel so damn inferior. I mean, I love him to pieces, except for that one long stretch a couple of years ago where he really needed anger-management and we weren't on speaking terms, but we've made up since then. I just wish I didn't feel so much like the girl who could live off Cheetos and Pepsi when I'm with him.
Reaper: One of my new best friends. Not my bestest best friend or anything, not by a long shot, but we met in passing a while ago and I thought, "Oh, he's kinda funny." But I didn't really have much time to talk to him until I ran into him last week and said, "Oh, hey, let's catch up!" And we had a blast, we had so much freaking fun, so now we're totally going to try to get together every chance we get.
Sarah Connor Chronicles: She's the awesome best friend I used to have who I used to slavishly follow after back when she had a different haircut and a different job and whatever. And I keep meaning to hook back up with her because she was pretty much my favorite person on the planet, but she's never off work the same time I am so I have to keep leaving her weepy voicemails. It's kind of embarrassing, actually.
Ugly Betty: That funny silly girl I love hanging out, but for some reason we just keep missing one another, and I really don't miss her as much as I thought I would.
Law and Order, all flavors: My dependable roommate. He doesn't really have a job except for curling up on the couch with me when I'm writing or just hanging out. He's like my comfort buddy. He's always around and he's like a big cuddly teddy bear.
CW RPS: I've been hanging out with him forever. He's pretty much a guy a lot of the time, so I have a lot of fun screwing with him and playing a lot of tricks on his ass.
Step It Up And Dance: You know, sometimes I really can't believe I hang out with her. She's not really that smart, and she always talks about her job but I've never actually seen her do it. She may not even have a job. But she talks about her job in such a way that I'm almost positive she's actually good at it, so. *shrugs*
Shear Genius: I really should not like hanging out with him. He's kind of an airhead, and he rarely says anything particularly intelligent. But he's a total character so I can never seem to give up spending time with.
Highlander: My college boyfriend. We were hot and heavy for the longest time. He was my very first boyfriend, so I was more than a little clingy, but we sort of drifted apart. I haven't seen him in ages, but I have fond memories of him.
Buffy: Oh, man, I dated that guy for the looooooongest time. I knew him inside and out. I loved him like crazy. I thought he was the one. He was cute, he made me laugh, he was smart, he brought me candy. Oh, but his friends. Either they liked him better with his old girlfriend, or they thought he should be dating that awful neighbor of his that he kept arguing with, or they wanted him to drop me like a hot potato and date that guy at work who kept stealing his Post-It notes. Anyway, they never really liked him dating me, and I was still taking things way too sensitively so we broke it off and don't really talk all that often.
