This is his performance last year, when he didn't make it through to the semis. Poor kid, when he's worrying about how much money his parents have.

This is his first performance this year, when everybody was glad to have him back. Especially Simon. :)

This is the first time he performed the routine he performed after he won, so in this one he's not internally freaking the fuck out.

I really do love this kid a lot. You know when you watch someone doing really well at something they really love and you can practically taste the passion? This is SO THAT. You can just see how much he loves doing this, and I really hope he can make a career out of this because seriously, he looks like he's having more fun than nearly all of the contestants on Step It Up And Dance.

And you know, I feel really weird pimping America's Got Talent to high heaven, but it's SUCH cheesy fun. I know it's bad, I know there's some fairly embarrassing moments sometimes, but when it's good it's such a blast. Three more weeks, baby. Aw, yeah. *fist bump*

***

I have a new favorite episode this season. Oh, MAN.

Completely ignoring the creepy scary shit (which was exactly the sort of creepy scary feeling I get in libraries anyway, so score on that count and I haven't said anything about Moffat taking over but damn, does this make me feel even better about it), PLANET LIBRARY. Books everywhere. That's where I'm going when I die and go to Heaven. :)

As for the story, obviously it freaked me out like crazy. And yet I still didn't turn on any of the lights in my apartment because I'm a masochist. Heh.

I really, REALLY like River Song. If she's supposed to be a future Companion of his, I can totally get into that. It felt like more than that to me, though. I keep wavering between Companion and wife, so. *shrugs*

Also, please not to be killing Donna? Pretty please? I like her better than Rose and Martha and I don't want them to bump off the one I like best, damn it.

Next week now, yes?

Next Week NOW.

When Dr. Song looked at Donna like that, I put my hands on my ears and started yelling. Damn it. Damn. It.

You know, I'm really, really glad you pimp stuff like this on your journal. You watch completely different things than I do, so when you bring something like this to the table? It isn't something I would have seen if you hadn't pimped it.

Awesome. And you're so right: that kid is GREAT, both in heart and in talent. Thanks so much for sharing it.

I've watched you tube clips of Brit'sgottalent every day this week and it's been great fun.
For some reason, I cannot stop watching all Strike performances. ;-)

He fairly obviously loves what he's doing, but he also has fantastic control and technique. The only other kids I've ever seen that good are here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHBYhVyYs6I) and I'd still say they weren't as good as he is.

They had something similar (http://youtube.com/watch?v=uXo2apDYMB8) on this year's Aussie SYTYCD except the kid who was absolutely exceptional couldn't technically audition because he was too young (they have age limits, unlike 'Got Talent). They still let him perform (http://youtube.com/watch?v=3Ll5ZdfbOyg) though and he was breathtaking.

Hi, I love that you love Britain's Got Talent! I was at George's first audition in Manchester last year, and he was brilliant then, really brought the house down. I was disappointed he didn't get through last year, so to see him come back and fight his way through this year was great. It was an inspired choice of song and actually dancing in the "rain" topped it off. The kid was phenomenal. You can tell that he desperately wanted this and that it really will change his life, and, in the end, that's what it's all about.

Doctor Who was on top form last night. I hope we find out just who River Song is next week and that Donna's not dead after all. Seems to me that Donna may meet a sticky end, judging by River's reaction to her identity, but, by the same token, River looked surprised when Donna's face turned up on the node, so maybe this isn't her scheduled sticky end.

I am so happy about Moffatt taking over after that episode. I want to live on Planet Library! Though I have a terrible feeling that something I won't like is going to happen to Song or Donna or both.

I really REALLY hope donna doesn't get killed off. I like her!

The only thing that freaked me out was the 'ghosting' thing - too creepy for me.

A week is too long to wait!

I know, right? It would be just like this show to bring back the Companions I just like a great deal and kill off the one I love the best. *sadface*
