I was just flipping through the channels and I stumbled onto "The Capture of the Green River Killer" on Lifetime.

James Marsters is playing Ted Bundy on my TV screen right now.

This is weird.

(If anybody's wondering, "What the hell is Ted Bundy doing in a movie about the Green River Killer?", when they were in the middle of the investigation Bundy sent them a letter saying, "Oh, I can help you catch him!" and then gave the cops pretty good hints for catching him. Granted, they didn't catch Ridgway for another seven years, but still.)

Here's a piece of random info for you, I was briefly in a band with the son of the real life investigator being portrayed there... who interviewed Ted Bundy about TGRK and who spent much of his career searching for him... and who also originally helped catch Ted Bundy (in Washington, before he escaped and ran to Florida...)

So, like, you're three degrees away from that real life dude, via the wonder that is lj. And hence, four degrees from Ted Bundy and Gary Ridgeway!
