A few things

-- I am seriously tempted to just not go into my job today. I left early last night because my back was killing me, and it's looking more and more like they're going to lay us off in the near future. And all of the people who are halfway decent to work with are leaving to get better jobs, so the only people left are inept and aggravating. So basically a normally crappy job is turning into something I can barely handle. Brilliant.
-- So I've been trying to distract myself by focusing on my novel again, which is working pretty well so far. I'm just wating until I get off work on Monday to actually write stuff. I may end up trying to sleep as much as possible tomorrow so I can just go to Panera after work on Monday and see if I can get my engines revved up again. :)
-- I'm seven episodes into Gossip Girl. *throws hands in air* All right, fine, I love Chuck Bass. Thanks, Chuck. Hit every kink I have for fictional jerks, why don't you? (For the record, Dan is also very ridiculously cute.)
-- It's approximately five bajillion degrees in my apartment right now even though I've been running the fan all day long. Come on, rain, any time you're like to fall I'd appreciate it. I can hear rumbling ...
-- I still haven't been able to get my haircut. The Wal-Mart salon's being redone, my cousin's always booked for weeks, and every walk-in salon around here's annoyingly expensive for being out in the middle of nowhere.
