Hi, happy place.

I've had the Christian and Olli preview clip open in a tab since yesterday. You know what makes me giddy? That Christian's so into sucking on Olli's neck that he doesn't even hear Gregor come in. And it's not like Gregor sneaks in, he says Christian's name and gets out a couple of words before he notices what's going on. For sudden embarrassing entrances, it's practically a brass marching band. :)
Is it Wednesday yet?! (It IS Wednesday, yes?)
*quietly vibrates in anticipation*
EDIT: You know what I think? I think it really is going to be less about Gregor being homophobic in any way, since he's clearly shown he's not, and more about Christian not telling him. (Even though he HAS told Gregor and Gregor thought it was a joke, which ... HA.) Or more aptly, Christian keeping his relationship with Olli a secret and putting up with Wolle. Think about how Gregor was with Sarah. I think Gregor's going to have a fit because he may see what Christian's doing as disrespectful to the man he loves.
Honestly, I don't blame Christian for being afraid that his brother, the only family he has left, might be angry enough over his being attracted to a man to turn away from him, and I love that Olli's fully supporting him in keeping it secret at the same time he's slowly but gently persuading him that Gregor's not that kind of a guy.
And you know, watching this storyline makes me even angrier at ATWT. Luke and Noah didn't kiss for months with no social obstructions whatsoever -- they were an open and out couple with an accepting circle of family and friends (not counting Col. Psycho). Christian is afraid of losing his brother and now of losing what he probably sees as his only chance to become a real boxer. There are real honest-to-goodness reasons why Christian and Olli can't kiss in public. Luke and Noah had none of that.

Is it just me who thinks that if he came out very publicly, using the gay press, who could become a hot topic with lots of media coverage, bringing in lots of money and fight offers? If I want to not be too naive, but be horribly cynical instead, then I could always argue that if all boxers are so homophobic, they should be ecstatic to fight a gay boxer and (try) to pummel him.
Either that, or they could threaten him with a lawsuit. I'm pretty sure if Germany has civil partnership for same sex couples (which they do), they have anti discrimination laws.
