apocalypsosSo my parents went to Ocean City this week, and while they were there they (and my cousin and her husband) went to this restaurant and afterwards went to sit over by the stage to wait for the singer and band to start up. Well, apparently they had taken the table of a couple who are there every night, which didn't go over so well when the couple showed up. The couple went off to sit at another table, but they bitched the entire time and the woman kept giving my parents death glares. The best part was that since the couple were regulars there, the singer and the bartenders were having a blast during the show picking on them, although from what my parents said the couple wasn't enjoying it quite so much.
So the next night my parents went back to the same place and stole the same table all over again. The couple were even more pissed. The singer said they should try getting there earlier.
Cut to today when my parents got home. My dad couldn't resist checking the restaurant's webcam.
The couple got there at least two hours before the show was supposed to start.
*snickers* And people wonder how I turned out like this. ;)

In other news, Dexter ate out of my hand!
Look, I'm the only person excited about this, seriously. Elliot's pretty blase about people holding him -- he's the one I offer up to visitors for petting -- but Dexter doesn't want me anywhere near him. So I was scooping food into their cage with one hand and just as I stuck my hand in Elliot bounded over and started taking food right out of my hand. It might have been a distraction, honestly, because the next thing I know I look at Dex and he's digging through the pile of food in my hand looking for the good stuff.
