They're showing Overboard on ABC Familyl right now and I have to leave for work in ten minutes?!

*sadpuppyface*

Dude, Overboard is one of my favorite Rainy Sunday movies EVER. (You know, those movies that never won any awards and didn't make a lot of money and you don't run out to buy the DVD or anything, but they rerun constantly and when you're channel-surfing and you stumble on them you go all, "YAY!" and have to drop everything to watch it even though you've seen it five bajillion times. Unless you have to go to work. *sadderpuppyface*)

EDIT: I know I hit the Twilight hate a bit hard, but whoever made #115 and I need to hang together. Oh, yes. All of that.

LOL, I just posted about Overboard in a v. similar manner a few weeks ago. I totally feel the same way!

#129 in that post made me crack a huge grin, because Jonathan Coulton really is that awesome. Doubly so in person.

Hah, I just got to that one and squeed :D

(Also, Fannish Coincidence strikes in 109; I just saw Charlie Bartlett last week but I kind of, uh, loved it.)

I mostly stop to watch Overboard because my inner 12-year-old still wants to check out Goldie Hawn's ass in that one scene, and my outer 31-year-old can't believe how sorta kinda rape-y the plot is.

Seriously. I mean, I try not to think about it too much because the movie amuses me, but thinking about it too much makes Kurt Russell look really ridiculously skeevy.

Overboard is pretty high on my Favorite Movies list - Goldie & Kurt at their most amusing.

Haha I JUST read Twilight today (during a six hour car ride back from a wedding) and it is awesome in how bad it is. I was entertained, but probably not in the way the author intended.

Yeah, I'll probably end up checking out the next two books but mainly because they're fast reads for me and my library is having an Adult Summer Reading contest and the more books you read, the higher chances of winning. Plus, I'm morbidly curious to see how much worse it can get.

Anyone who doesn't think Twilight is the worst book ever has something very wrong with them.
