apocalypsosYou know, I've watched "Guiding Light" since I was a kid (my grandmother used to make me watch it when she was babysitting me) and I just flipped it on for the first time in a long time, as usual, to complete confusion.
Three questions for anybody who can answer them --
1. Cassie and Edmund?! Wtf?
2. Okay, how'd they bring the guy who plays Richard back? 'Cause that was definitely not him. And also, was that Marah kissing him? Because if so, that's kinda a great big ewwwww.
3. Um, what the hell is wrong with Philip? The last I knew, he and Olivia were having a baby, and then now he's doing the patented Loonier Than A Fruitcake Rocking Back and Forth Action alone in his bedroom.
Ooo, and my cat who likes to play with my underwear? Apparently, he's now having a love affair with my mother's terry bathrobe. My bikini briefs will be bitterly disappointed, but really, that bathrobe is a tramp.

Date: 2003-12-26 08:28 am (UTC)Cassie + Edmund happened when he was trying to set up a memorial to Richard and asked humbly for her help. She was all hateful at first but then their love grew (gag gag gag gag)
That's the Springfield DA, and oddly enough, he looks just like Richard which gave Cassie quite a heart attack when he showed up. They brought him in to do the love triangle thing with Edmund and Cassie, but they haven't really developed it.
Eh, Alan is fucking with Philip's mind again.
