I searched for my real-life name in Google and learned two things -- that someone I've never even heard of quoted a line from one of my old movie reviews in a college-level analytical paper, and also, there is one other person in the United States with my name, and she's a Girl Scout. So she'd be the good twin, then, I suppose.

One of whom has the same middle initial as I do, and grew up a whole two hours away from me in Gainesville FL. And shes' the exact same age.

Besides being named after an object (Tiara), my name gets misused in this country - I share my name with an actress (Tiara isn't even her REAL name :P), a car, a bunch of companies, a health resort, a condominium, and God knows what else.

Online I share my name with a band, a suitcase, a packet of Japanese tea, a dog, a cat, and an anime character o_O

I googled my real name once, I never did it again. My name is really common and the name of a battered women's shelter in my area, so I never actually found anything that was about me. I had more success with my mother and stepmother's names. My stepmother's was the best because it came up with about a thousand hits and about 80% of the ones I saw were about her. My mother is literally the only woman in the US with her name and everyone with her last name is pretty closely related to her. So I discovered that my mother's cousin, who I've never met, is an entomology professor at Cornell.

I vanity google my screen name fairly often. Mostly I get expected stuff, my livejournal, things like that. But one time I did and found something I wrote link to from a Russian porn website. That was interesting. It's strange because while the subject matter was a little sketchy, all it was, was a overview of a bunch of books and movies, not really porny stuff.

I was told back in high school that I share the same given and surname as an adult movie actress, so I'm not really surprised that when I just Googled my name the top result was for a "nude celebrity search results." Also, someone with my name got first place showing her spring heifer, someone with my given name was listed next to someone with my surname (last, first name order) in a volleyball team's roster, and someone else with my name is working at a blood bank and is the contact for donating platelets for a particular little girl. And that's just page 1 out of 10.
