Okay, so I've had a late start.

apocalypsosNumber of finished chapters for The Grand Prize Winner:
I can finish one by the end of the night, which should be okay. The last chapter needs maybe a half a page to a page to finish. (Yes, I skipped around. Sue me.) I believe I've got nine days off for the rest of the month (thirteen if I get a temporary one-week layoff this week, which is looking likely and isn't a bad sign as of yet, no worries, happens every year around this time for me, nobody freak out) which means I have plenty of time to finish the rest of the book.
I really have to go over the rest of the book, though. Methinks I'm a bit rusty. *bites nails*
I'm also sorely tempted to send Dead Men In Dark Suits to someone to tell me it doesn't suck, except that's bullshit and I know it, and the agent-shaped person was right about the rewrite sounding too much like the Books of Boggs, so I think what I need to do is drink a lot and listen to "Wild" a million times and rewrite it the RIGHT way. I also have to come up with another name for the little girl in the Books of Boggs if I'm going to rewrite DMIDS, because Ash was Ashley first (after she was Ashton -- don't ask) and it's just easier to rename the kid than it is to rename her. So ... yeah.
If that counter hasn't reach fifteen by the time I leave for the bar tomorrow night, you all have permission to smack me inna head.
