-- So I dug out my sewing machine and put it on the extra dining room table in the foyer (it seems so silly that I'm broke all the time and have a cheap-ass apartment but it's so big I've got a damn foyer AND an office, heh), and I wiped off all the dust and it WORKS and as soon as I get the bobbin case I'm soooo going to hit Joann's Fabrics sometime next month whether I can afford it or not. *bounces around the room happily*

Look, you people have knitting, I have sewing. I haven't made anything in AGES. I'm all twitchy. :)

-- Also, my new jeans fit awesomely, thank God. Then again, that's the advantage of buying my jeans at Wal-Mart -- I've never had to try on jeans there just as long as they're size seven petites. My only real problem is finding flares, which are the best for my body shape. (No matter how skinny I get I've always got a butt to work with. Not that I'm complaining, mind you.)

-- I figure I should have no problem getting three chapters of The Grand Prize Winner done today. I moved the laptop back into office -- I'd been using it in the living room, which for obvious reasons like the TV and couch can tend to be distracting -- so hopefully that'll help me focus.

Three chapters should also be more than enough to help me crack 60k, which would be faaaabulous.

Oh, and last night I printed out The Monsters of Moosic and Dead Men in Dark Suits and bound them up so that I can work on them. I mostly just want to reread Monsters, but DMIDS needs a rewrite from the ground up so I took the brown shipping paper that I put up on the one wall a few weeks back but still hadn't used and started setting it up so I can sketch out the story for myself.

-- I also got new ink cartridges for my Fly pen. The last one dried up and I had to order the damn things online.

-- I missed all of Monday night TV again. Eh. Aside from Pushing Daisies, Supernatural, Merlin, Gossip Girl, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and Top Chef, I'm not really following anything right now, and I can always get them all online.

-- You know what'll help with that whole writing thing? Four hours of LJ downtime. *sigh*

-- I'm out of Pepsi. I should probably get on that. And maybe eat something before I forget until midnight like I always do when I get swept up in writing.

-- Did I mention that I've spent the past two weeks at work making the Twilight soundtrack? Words cannot begin to describe how much I cringe when I see anything remotely Twilight-related anymore, I swear.

*laughs* True enough. What are you planning on making?

I figure I may start easy first and make myself pajama bottoms. I'm going to see if they have fabric like the warm fuzzy stuff the PJ bottoms I bought at Wal-Mart the other day. I love those. It's like my legs are being hugged by Muppets. :)
