-- HA! Republicans to flee D.C. for Inauguration -- Aw, don't go, you guys! That's the most impressive display of humor I've seen out of Republicans in a while. (I'm not even being sarcastic. A few of those quotes genuinely made me giggle.)

-- I spent forty bucks this morning to get myself stocked with groceries. And I found out Zatarain's makes single-serving everything-in-one packs for dopes like me. Woohoo! Also, one of these days I really have to get to a Cajun place because I've been having a craving for blackened fish lately and I don't trust myself to make it right.

-- Today I'm going to see if I can actually get more chapters done, as supposed to yesterday when I just got the one chapter out of the way. *sigh*

-- Oh, man, I want to pack up and head off to Panera in the worst way but I don't dare spend any extra cash until my dental work is done. *grumbles*

-- There are about twenty empty two-liter Pepsi bottles spilling out of the garbage can in my office. God, I wish I were joking.

Every time I hear a Republican flailing over the election like I did when Bush was reelected, it takes every single ounce of my self-control not to start shouting SUPPORT OUR PRESIDENT LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT THESE COLORS DON'T RUN WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO right back at them.
