apocalypsosYou know what? I think if you screw up enough things in your life -- big things like love and money and academics -- you should get a do-over. Just get to completely wash your hands of the entire affair and start from scratch.
Maybe that's the explanation for my infatuation with post-apocalyptic fiction. Some days, aside from the total annihilation of the planet, starting over doesn't look so bad.
And now I'm going to drink and watch "The Twilight Zone". Yeah, that'll help me lighten up.
P.S. Today, I had an idea for a Terminator/Buffy crossover fic. That's it, I'm putting out a restraining order on my writing muse.
