Things that are awesome

1. That my cat is STILL better behaved than my mother's cats. They knocked over her drink trying to get her Arby's sandwich. Mine was happy with his Friskies and I got to have all of mine.

2. I got another check in the mail! I got a check a while back from a settlement because the FTC filed a complaint against Ameridebt for dicking over the people who they were supposed to be helping. I tried them for a few months before I couldn't afford to do it anymore. But now I've had two $26 checks, so I'm happy. \o/

3. I got a goody bag! I went to Borders and picked out a journal (it sort of looked like a big moleskin), a YA novel that looked interesting, and a cheap but nice-looking guide to DC (which should come in handy when I have to edit the book). So as soon as I finish the first draft, I can have my goodies. Until then, my mom's holding onto them for me.

4. I think I have a Bigbang idea! It requires me to turn Jensen into a massive dork. I can't wait. :)

5. Discovery's showing Destroyed In Seconds all night long. Woohoo!

What YA novel?

Um, Vampire Academy, I think it was. I was going to try to get the Gemma Doyle trilogy but they didn't have "A Great And Terrible Beauty" (they were so incredibly crowded today they barely had anything), and my best friend and I keep throwing YA vampire novel series at one another so I figure after I'm done she can read it. :)
