Tomorrow morning the Oscar nominations are going to be announced. You know what that means:

The Razzie nominations came out today!

Worst picture nominees are The Love Guru, Disaster Movie, The Hottie and the Nottie, Meet the Spartans, and In The Name Of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. Also, they're giving Uwe Boll a worst career achievement Razzie. That last bit makes Hollywood a better place. Heh.

Okay, I'm not saying The Love Guru is high art but it's not nearly as bad as the trailers made it look, and my tolerance for Mike Meyers shenanigans is pretty low. Stephen Colbert's awesome peyote freakout at the end almost saves it. It's worth a rental, especially because the DVD has a section of Colbert outtakes.

I can't believe Max Payne didn't make the cut. Easily one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Between that and The Happening I'm good with never seeing Mark Wahlberg in a movie again.
