You know you have the next four years, right?

President Obama on Thursday signs several orders, one of which dealt with interrogating terror suspects.

The order requires both U.S. military and paramilitary organizations to use the Army Field Manual as the guide on getting information from prisoners, moving away from the Bush administration tactics that were considered torture by many.

Jess got a mandatory layoff. I'm next on the seniority list. I'd worry more about work, but I seem to recall I'd only worked six days in the first two months of last year, so. *shrugs* Plus thanks to all of that overtime I did last year my weekly unemployment payout this year is almost the same size as the checks I get when my forty-eight hour paychecks roll around.

Yet another dentist appointment today. I'm really hoping this is another poke-around-in-my-teeth-and-then-send-me-on-my-merry-way day, since I don't really feel like spending money today. Urgh.

I didn't get any writing done yesterday. Yay for feeling like a failure! *headdesk*

It's a good way to put aside all those fears people had that he wouldn't do anything right away, and all the haters would point and say how horrible he is.

Well there, he's getting shit done in his first week. Take THAT! =)
