-- Wonderful movie, strong performances, but Jesus FUCK, that was depressing.
-- Leo and Kate were fabulous as always, but Michael Shannon was the best thing in the entire movie. His scenes were the only time in the movie anyone in my audience laughed.
-- When April bought the tickets for the ship, I leaned over to my mom and uncle and whispered, "Those are the last two people on the planet who should ever take a voyage by ship." They LOLed. :)
-- Oh, man, the set design and costumes were great.

I told my uncle and mom that next week if we were all off work again we're going to see Slumdog.

Aaaaand now I'm still feeling like crap because for some reason riding in my parents' car makes me carsick.

It could be the way they drive.

People who gas-brake-gas-brake constantly will do that to you.

One of my nephews used to tap his foot to whatever music (he mostly listens to metal) was playing. I never noticed it until someone pointed it out. Fortunately, he seems to have broken the habit.

Nah, I think it's a combination of not having the windows open a crack (my parents yell if I do that to settle my stomach even now) and not being the one driving (which never nauseates me for some reason).

I had gotten to the point up until a few years ago where I would just fall asleep almost as soon as I got in a car, thereby stifling the carsickness, but I'm a passenger so rarely anymore I can't do it.
