apocalypsos... how awesome it is to call to double-check my bank balance and hear it say it's fifteen hundred bucks.

So I watched Gossip Girl.
-- Oh, Dan. You're such an idiot. I know you and Rachel slept together after she got fired, but, oh, for Christ's sake.
-- Speaking of Rachel, I seriously doubt her abilities as a teacher if she thinks Dan's idiotic drivel is good.
-- Nate and Vanessa are more than a little cute this time around. I think it's because he's not so distracted and so she's not always left behind forlornly staring at a half-empty plate, which happened how many times last season?
-- I will take back Jenny's scary eyeliner if it means she'll lose that stupid strip of plaid she wears buttoned around her neck from her school uniform. Please stop that. It's supposed to go with Blair's prairie tops, and it looks dumb when you're wearing some skimpy top with it. I did like the pink bit from the bottom of your skirt, though, so there is that.
-- Okay, so you know how Ross and Rachel kept getting together and breaking up and getting together and breaking up and getting together and breaking up and getting together and breaking up and I kind of want to throttle Dan and Serena before they reach the point where I want to hit both of them with bricks, is what I'm saying?
-- I heart Chuck's new mystery, the big old daddy-issues sleeze. Bless.
-- Jeez, Blair. I love it when she's her usual terrible-when-wronged self because, really, it's not about me liking her as a person. I don't want to hang out with her. I want her to be spiteful and childish with way too much power like I'd expect from a rich teenage girl. So I quite enjoyed that, even though I want to smack her upside the head about as much as I want to do the same to Dan.

Oh, and I watched Heroes, for what it's worth.
-- That was actually pretty good, considering the clusterfuck that's been the last ten episodes or so.
-- I didn't watch the last few episodes, obviously, but I was following along. Quick question, since it's the only thing I missed -- Hiro's powers ... bwuh? I'm guessing Arthur took them, yes? And they're not back ... or something?
-- Oh, Ando. You're a putz with powers, but we'll keep you.
-- I will give Hayden a million dollars if she stops overenunciating. Every. Word. She Says.
-- I find it hilarious that Mohinder thought he could trust HRG. Oh, sweetie. I have no idea whether he's been good or bad lately but I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. Not even if I were Claire. Never, ever, ever. HA!
-- It's completely unrealistic, but I almost want Sylar to become a good guy. Although then we'll miss out on all the homicides. I kinda like the murdering psychopath Sylar, and yet woobie Sylar ... also appealing.
-- Aw, Matt and Daphne. They really are kind of cute, and she has shaken that twitchy thing she did with her head all the time.

Date: 2009-02-03 03:40 am (UTC)Yep. Peter only has his power because he took to injection that Arthur had concocted (the same one Ando took to get his Super Sidekick power). I'm wondering if that's why he seems to need to touch someone to absorb powers now, because it used to be an area effect.
