I forgot to mention that on the way home from picking up the kitten, my mom and I drove past a pickup truck on fire on the side of the highway.
And when I saw, "on fire," I honestly mean engulfed in flames from bumper to bumper, while the driver and passengers stood next to the tow truck parked a safe distance ahead of the burning truck, waiting for the fire trucks to arrive and recording the fire with their camera phones. Because, really, at that point, what else can you do when you have a burning vehicle and no marshmallows?
TRUCK ON FIRE. Whoosh.
