So I've been watching Project Runway Canada this season (thank God for YouTube) and Sunny is my fucking homeboy. Seriously, they might as well just give him the top prize right now. Unless he fucks up royally in the future, he's a lock. And I'd wear practically every single thing he's put out. For fuck's sake, has there ever been a contestant on these shows who's been in every single challenge's top three? And he's such a sweetie, too.

Having said that, I think Jason's going to end up in the final three, too, and I'm torn between Adejoke and Jessica ending up in the other spot. I really don't like Kim's lipless witchface, so I'm hoping she goes next. The problem is that Sunny is above and beyond ALL of these people and it'd be a freaking miracle if any of the others took it.

Also, Genevieve has bug eyes and they haunt me in my sleep.

I wrote some last night! As soon as I'm done watching PRC, I'm going to write again! I'm almost done with another chapter!

Jess asked me if I want to go out to the bar tonight and I do, I just want to finish the damn book already before I go out. I feel like ... I don't know, I feel like if I go to the bar right now, I'm drinking because I have no job, but if I finish GPW first, I'm drinking because I *finally* finished another manuscript.

Eh, we'll see how things go. I've got all day to write, after all. *sigh*

I heard a rumor that Guiding Light might get canceled in April. I want to say I read that on AfterElton, I think it was. Anyway, that's so incomprehensible to me. I used to watch GL with my grandma when I was little. Hell, I can still catch what's going on if I turn it on these days, although the way they film it anymore is so awful and cheap-looking it's ridiculous.

Did you know Reva is pregnant again? She's had cancer, like, fifteen times by now and if I recall is somewhere in her fifties. And the Wikipedia entry said she's been going through menopause for years now. That woman? Has ... well, I was going to say a Teflon uterus, but now that I think about it, it'd have to be the opposite of that, wouldn't it?

ok. a show I can watch first run and discuss, vs. going 'wtf' at your reports in regards to Top Chef.

Sunny would have to create the most monstrous outfit in the history of monstrous outfits to lose this thing. And the thing is - they're not outfits that make you cringe but go 'ok, I guess I can see fashion', they're actually all really 'wow'.

I want Jessica in the final three though. Not just because she's got my name, but seriously - that green dress? It was awesomeness. Awesome enough I'm half tempted to peek in my local Winners up here in Canadia and see what it looks like at a larger size (assuming of course I live in one of the areas with a 'selected winners', which I probably don't).

And I still cannot figure out how we got Iman. It confuses me. Not that I'm complaining (and really, when she comes out rocking a ziggy stardust tshirt, I squee. lol) but why?

Sunny is goddamn amazing. He so rarely does ANYTHING wrong, and the only thing I worry about is that it's coming, that he'll have some problem and get eliminated and I'll want to cry.

I would love Jessica in the final three. I'm a bit worried about her track record, but that green dress was divine and she's got a fabulous attitude and sense of humor.

I don't know who they had to bribe to get Iman, but I'm thrilled they got her. I think I like even more than Heidi. Heidi's cute, but Iman is tough as hell.

heh. I just looked at the PRC website. Apparently the dress is available in 4 colours (though I still prefer the green) ... and I'd have to drive 2 hours to even get a look at it. oh well - bit too formal for my normal life anyways. But still pretty to look at.

And yeah. It would really suck if he had one really bad week and that was just enough. Though for some reason I have a feeling Iman would argue against it - she definitely argues her opinions a lot more forcefully than Heidi does. Don't piss that woman off, I think.

I'm afraid this season might get a little boring since Sunny is clearly running away with this. It's a shame Danio had to withdraw - he's the only one I could've seen as another contender.

I'll be sad to see Guiding Light go, even if I haven't watched regularly since the mob storylines started. I was watching ATWT before GL (I think it must have been the early eighties!,) but GL was the first soap I really loved.

And ditto to the last paragraph. I realized a couple days ago that I've completely lost track of which books I've ordered and which ones I haven't. Not good, but, hey, I'm mourning my dog. I'm letting myself go crazy this month. Next month I'll be good again.

My understanding is that the latest rumours are that GL is looking at a year or two's reprieve. It's been on teh up for the last couple of months, and there is a lot of buzz for the Otalia relationship, which they've been building very carefully for over a year, old soap style. We'll see if it's enough to keep it afloat, but it has me desperately hanging out for the next episode, and it doesn't even play in my country!

Now I must see if I can find vids of Canada's Project runway! You have piqued my interest.
