There's only two things I hate about being laid off:
1. Looking for a new job.
2. Having my mother call me at 7:30 in the morning to rag on me about OMG YOU BETTER GO PUT IN A RESUME HERE AND HERE AND HERE AND HERE AND HERE AND HERE AND HERE AND HERE AND HERE ...
Let me explain something. My brother quits jobs at the drop of a hat. He told me he was sorry I lost my job. My father finally got a real job a couple of years ago after having his own business for twenty-five years or so. He asked me a few simple questions and that was the end of it.
My mother has had the same very secure job for the past twenty years. And it shows.
