I had not seen any other comments when I nominated Sesame Street and the Muppet Show--I can't believe it got that many votes! Whoot!

You know, Avatar doesn't actually count itself as anime... or at least it doesn't some of the time. I've seen flame wars about this, which just goes to show fandom can argue about anything given enough time and investment.

(And I can't believe the Dresden Files made it.)

Even if it counts itself as anime just some of the time, it's still more anime than any fandom we've ever had. I'm amazed we're on the fourth year (I think) and we have yet to have one, considering how many anime fans there are on LJ. *shrugs*

(I know, right? But Turn Coat did just come out, so that probably helped.)
