I just find it hilarious that it's become such a cliche out of these people as if it were some good luck charm, but it's so rare that people who go on those shows and declare they're not there to make friends, they're there to win the game actually, you know, win the game.
Okay I can appreciate that irony. It's just they sound so bitchy when they say that! I mean really is it so difficult to be on a contest and not get to know your fellow contestants and possibly make friends?
Haha, love that. I can never understand why people on shows like Project Runway, modeling competition shows, and cooking competition shows always say that. Because, it's called networking, and if you don't win, you probably want to be in good standing with the person who did. So maybe they'll help you out with a job one day.
