My friends were in the audience and they said you could see the pound signs appear in Simon's eyes when the kid was finished. He was brilliant - anyone else is going to have to go some to beat him.
The pedant in me wants to retort that it was a Jackson 5 song, not Michael Jackson, but I'm telling it to shut up and just enjoy his amazing rendition.
