I just finished watching Jurassic Park (the first one), of which one of the best parts is Goldblum. I saw it was on and was all, hey, I'll watch this now just so his L&O character will be that much more entertaining.

They just introduced his character tonight and he's ... weird. Ditzy? Something like that. At one point halfway through the episode he declared to his partner that someone was the murderer, then stared into the camera right before they cut to commercial, and it was like JESUS JEFF GOLDBLUM DON'T FUCKING STARE AT ME GYAAAAAAAH.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one getting that vibe. I was all fangirl excited about him being the new detective, but now I miss Chris Noth. I'm hoping they're going somewhere with his personality, but I'm not sure if they intend for him to be actually ditzy or just pretend-ditzy (like Det. Goram). Gr. I love L&O haha.
