I imagine they're trying to respond to all those complaints about how they never actually kill as many characters as they probably should, or at least not the right ones, and getting them to kill off a Petrelli permanently is like pulling teeth with chopsticks.

Of course, they're doing so by a.) casually glossing over the Claire-blood and b.) keeping Sylar who, really, has been on waaaaay past when his expiration date should have been.

Haha I tried to defend them by saying that her blood probably doesn't work on folks who are all dead. But then I remembered that it, um, did. Maybe not hers, but Adam's or whoever. Sigh. Oh, Heroes.
