NOM called on YouTube to remove all parodies of their previous commercial due to "copyright infringement." So Perez Hilton turned around and demanded YouTube remove NOM's latest $1.5 million ad featuring Miss California because they used clips from his blog without his permission.

It'd be nice if Perez always fought intelligently rather than tastelessly, wouldn't it?

Somebody on Jezebel asked if they were going to go after Stephen Colbert and Funny or Die now, but I doubt it. I imagine those two would point out exactly that, whereas YouTube is more likely is take things down without question as a CYA move.

It is, but Youtube will run to ground rather than fight it, due to legal expense. If NOM tries that shit with Colbert or someone like that, however...
