fuck_arabs started out as a community that was a strictly anti-Arab page with one unapologetically racist asshat in attendence.

People have since shown up to forcibly turn it from a page of hate into a page about people who are in hot, sweaty lust with Arabs and which people of Arabian descent are the most fuckable.

God, I love LJ. :)

EDIT: Another thing that pisses me off about filmmakers who go back and "update" their classics with CGI (aside from the question of whether they're going to keep fucking up the movies the better the technology gets) is that you just know these are the same kind of filmmakers who have conniption fits over colorizing black-and-white movies.

I solemnly swear that if a bunch of dimensions merge and zombies show up in the Northeast and a plague sweeps over the human race ... erm, it wasn't my fault. Except for the part where I started dead_earth and now it turns out I may be psychic.

The TroNoWriMo story title

I had an idea for mixing the supernatural stuff and the fact that it's set in Northeastern Pennsylvania, using a play on Werewolves of London. You know, like:

Succubi of Scranton
Vampires of Vandling
Changelings of Carbondale
Monsters of Minooka

I don't know why, but I kind of like 'em. :)

After that Snape-is-Harry's-real-father story yesterday (Sheesh, did I actually read that story on purpose and like it? Yes ... yes, I did), I'm in the mood for more, "What, do you mean, he's my father?!" fics. You know, really good stories -- crossovers or not, and fandom doesn't matter -- where canon characters suddenly discover they're close blood relations.

Anybody got anything like that to rec? I need something to read on the bus tonight. :)

EDIT: I haven't eaten anything but some hard-boiled eggs for breakfast and some Cheetos at lunch. *listens to stomach growl, starves, wastes away*

The O'Reilly Factor For Kids -- The perfect book for anyone who wants their beloved child to grow up to be a belligerent, egotistical, conservative blowhard.

Also, the Ice Capades is performing "Finding Nemo." I'll bet teaching fish to ice skate is a real bitch.

Oh, and not eating almost anything all day has apparently made me giggly and hyperactive. Good to know ... I think.
