After that Snape-is-Harry's-real-father story yesterday (Sheesh, did I actually read that story on purpose and like it? Yes ... yes, I did), I'm in the mood for more, "What, do you mean, he's my father?!" fics. You know, really good stories -- crossovers or not, and fandom doesn't matter -- where canon characters suddenly discover they're close blood relations.

Anybody got anything like that to rec? I need something to read on the bus tonight. :)

EDIT: I haven't eaten anything but some hard-boiled eggs for breakfast and some Cheetos at lunch. *listens to stomach growl, starves, wastes away*

I was about to highly recommend "An Ordinary Boy" when I remembered that you wrote it. *facepalm* I have a secret weakness for the idea of Spike as Angel's son.

And I know you've read Amanda's adorable Spike & Dawn story "Answers and Questions", soooo...I got nothin'.

Hee! Thanks for reccing, er, me. :)

I could stand to read Amanda's story again, though, 'cause I love it so. You wouldn't happen to have a link, would you? (Seriously, I can remember carrying that sucker around in my backpack to read when I got bored for about a month and a half. It made me happy. *g*)

I don't have a site-link for it, but I do have an old text-file I saved of it kicking around, so I uploaded it for you here!

Years after I first read it, it's still one of my favourite commedy stories.

You know, I was wondering that was going, until someone spoke German and I remembered who wrote the story. And then I started giggling hysterically and didn't stop for fifteen minutes straight. :)

Hang on... You didn't actually read the entirety of Blood Magic in one day, did you? O O I was following that story for, like, forever.

Could you do me a favor? See if anyone knows about the Snape centered fiction where he plays detective, and we meet McGonnal's scottish husband?

Whenever you mention Cheetos, I instinctively startle. Eventually I'm sure I'll get over this.

Anyway, I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, but there's Absolutely Not, by Wilusa, in the Highlander fandom. Other than that, well.... Someone is someone's great great great great great (etc) grandfather in Babylon 5, and there's the 'files, but....

Odd. It's such a classic trope, too.

Do you have nothing to do for the next week? I have a HP trilogy, rather long and very angsty, from Enahma:

There are torture, torture and a little bit of torture.

Happy days in Hell

Coming off the ropes

Through the Walls

There are good moments too. Somewhere. Harry and Snape have a link but not father and son, you'll see what. But it's very long.

She had some other good fics, like the Cupboard.
