Mar. 7th, 2005 11:21 pmSo, anyway, stopped at Sears today and picked up two pairs of cords and a pair of khakis off the clearance rack, so that's one thing out of the way. I held off on getting the printer ink and paper because I honestly don't need it, since I can just print off finished chapters of Monsters of Minooka at work and nobody'll give a crap. Also, I finally got my Telefile thing, which I'd much rather do my taxes with because I've gotten into the habit of doing it that way and I need something simple I already know how to use when it comes to doing my taxes. I know it's just simple math, but I also know a bagful of squirrels would be able to fill out a tax form better than I would.
In any event, I'm now off to knock off at least a chapter before I leave for work tomorrow. And while I'm at it, I'm also going to see if the plotbunnies for the massive multifandom apocalyptic crossover I planned to write waaaay before
EDIT: Openly Gay Lawmakers Often Fight Alone -- The whole article is really interesting, but the part the got me was this:
Del. Richard Black, who was the sponsor of the Virginia gay adoption bill, said he's not trying to stamp out gay rights but is simply trying to preserve tradition. As for his personal feelings on [openly gay delegate] Ebbin, after a lengthy pause, Black offered: "He's always prompt and, you know, on time to meetings." A moment later, he added, "I think he works hard."
Oh, he did NOT just compliment the guy by saying he's punctual. *headsmack, tries not to giggle so hard at the stupid* I really shouldn't giggle at the flailing moron, but I just can't stop ...
