I've spent all morning on the monster xmmficathon entry of doooooooooooom. Current word count: 5,173 words. How much left to do -- lots and lots and lots. If what I've got now is 5k, I can guarantee a minimum of 50k by the time I finish. Boy, am I lucky I've got two months. ;)

Today, I decided that because I can't wear my jeans to work and all of my khakis and cords are too dirty, I'd wear the tan skirt I bought at the Gap a few weeks ago. I guess it's supposed to be knee length on a normal person, but it actually ends up at about mid-calf on me. Which, you know, makes it look a lot like a poodle skirt without the pink or the poodle, but since it still looks cute, I won't complain. :)

Oh, and did I mention that Lieutenant Asshat's sticking around for another week? *headdesk*
