Oh, why did I even bother waking up?

Sleep is so much more fun. *yawns*

Heh. I can complain all I want about my job, but those weeks when I have weekdays off are awesome. Right now I just rolled out of bed into my computer chair and I'm about to make myself lunch, watch a movie, and spend the rest of the day writing. Boy, am I glad I'm not at work right now! *dodges apples and rotten tomatoes*

I don't have a small child, so I'll just use my mother.

My mom just called and asked if I would go with her on Sunday night to see the third Santa Clause movie. Oh, damn. I suppose I shall suffer through the movie for my mother's sake, for I was in no way, shape or form strangely eager and desperate for someone to give me an excuse to go see the third movie in that magnificent crapfest. Ahem. *shifty eyes* (Admittedly she knows it's going to be bad, too, and yet we're both going to be each other's alibi. "I wouldn't have gone, but she wanted to go see it." HEE.) EDIT: Okay, the first movie was good. STILL.

I've only written a few hundred words today. *headdesk* Come on, story. *pokes it with a stick*

I'm feeling the urge to stop and write Hiro fic, too. Damn it, I'm not going to distract myself from the novel just yet. *buckles down*

In other news, I went to the store before and apparently had a craving for meat, considering I bought chicken, kielbasa, and a roast. GRRRR. I'm such a carnivore, y'all.
