So, the date ... thing.

Which was mostly just a bunch of us standing around swilling beer and mixed drinks until one in the morning at a bar in the middle of nowhere, which pretty much guaranteed that the only people I was going to run into were people I'd grown up with or went to school with. Case in point:

Guy: "Yeah, you spend such a long time in a city where you only know your roommates and then you move back here and the first day back, you run into someone you graduated with."
Me: "I know what that's like. Just ask the guy standing next to you."
Other Guy: "Whu-- Jenn? Hey! I haven't seen you in ten years!"

*snickers*

So, yeah. Nice guy, but ... no. Mostly I just came out of last night with the desperate need to get myself a pool table so that I can practice whenever I want, because man, am I rusty but at least I can still spot the angles. (Granted, my entire apartment tilts towards the back of the building, but I'm sure my dad could rig something up.) I want to be a pool shark again, damn it. *whines*

Hey, gang ...

... if anybody hasn't signed up for Remix, musesfool could really use some people who have already written five or more stories of at least 500 words in Pirates of the Caribbean, Torchwood, Heroes, or Grey's Anatomy fandoms.

C'mon, people, I know a bunch of you qualify for at least one of these.
