Jun. 6th, 2007 01:08 pmI am in somewhat of a better mood today because last night at work I just let myself think up story ideas -- nothing complicated, just general plot ideas -- and came up with fifty of 'em in a bunch of different fandoms. So, you know, YAY. At least five or six are Jess-centric for some reason, evidence of the fact that I apparently enjoy thinking about Jess making out with every canon character to cross her path. Heh.
And then I came home and there were lots of comments with stuff to make me happy, which they did. So also, YAY. :)
I think a lot of why I feel like crap lately is because I'm so very, very broke until I get paid tonight. So it's been a lot of not going anywhere or doing anything or buying a bunch of groceries for a couple of weeks or even getting to have any fun at Hershey Park. (Not that I would have had any if I'd had spare cash what with all the projectile vomiting, but still.) I'll probably be a hell of a lot less stressed out when I get my paycheck and my unemployment check from my layoff and can pay off my bills and buy myself groceries. Honestly, I can't believe how much I've been craving those fried chicken TV dinners. I'm probably just fixating because I can't have them. RAWR. *grabbyhands*
I have enough gas to get to work at least (thank God) but if I'm lucky I'll still have cash in my account tonight and will be able to buy Chinese food. Seriously, I'm so desperate for shrimp with broccoli and fried crab meat you just ... you have NO IDEA. No more ramen, yes? WOOT.
I'm currently watching Top Chef reruns of the first season. They keep showing promos for the cookoff tonight. I continue to hope the season one crew will just take the season two crew (sans Marcel) out back and punch them repeatedly in their heads, especially Ilan's idiotically styled one. Oh, my God, carvings in someone's fucking hair should not piss me off this much so much as make me decry someone's backward sense of fashion, and yet.
