At random ...
Sep. 15th, 2007 03:47 pm-- Work tonight! *sigh* Why can't I quit work and go back to school full-time? All of a sudden it has mounds more appeal than it did a few weeks ago. (I still find it funny that three weeks ago I was still all, "Meh, whatever, I'm bored," and now I'm all, "School, school, school! *grabbyhands*" HEE.)
-- I ran down to the plasma donation place to make an initial donation (which takes something like three hours) and it was closed this afternoon. Well, of COURSE it was. *headdesk*
-- Have I mentioned yet how awesome I think it is that the Discovery Channel's doing a show where they take a bunch of hot American/English/Australian guys to these isolated tribes in the middle of nowhere and have them do all of the tests they'd have to do to become men in the tribe? The showering with fire ants and fighting guys with spears blindfolded and the kind of hardcore asskicking that usually ends with, "And if you live, you get to be a man."
-- I think I'm fixating on the trashy weird chick lit idea I've been thinking of writing. Hmm.
-- Is it Halloween yet? I adore Halloween. Costumes and candy and scary movies all over my cable listings, yay! Oh, and also, that's about the time of the Office convention. Wheeee!
-- I ran up to my parents' house to tell my dad about the whole school thing and the first thing he said when he saw me (wearing my new glasses) was, "Your hair is purple!" Which, okay, it is because I just dyed it burgundy, but ... I don't know, I would have thought either the school or the glasses would have gotten more attention. *shrugs*
-- Apparently my grandparents were passing through the area and stopped by my parents' house, took one look at George and flipped out. My grandpa was all, "I didn't know cats got that big!" Heh. (My camera's still fucking up, but for a pretty good picture of what he looks like -- and to see some pretty Siamese cat pictures anyway -- go here, go to the gallery, and go all the way to the bottom to the picture of Logan. That's his father and George is about the same damn size.)
