Hey, guess who's protesting Noah and Luke again? That's right, it's those cheery asshats, the AFA.

Currently they're sending around an email with a Youtube video of the third kiss that warns against "repulsive content" (oh, so now they're admitting their opinions are repulsive? That's nice) and swamping P&G with negative comments on the relationship.

SO.

From vanhansis.net:

I just found out that P&G has set up a Nuke specific menu option for when you call their headquarters to comment. The telephone number is the same one listed on the AFA's Action Alert. So, they must be getting a lot of calls!

We need to call now to show our support for Nuke!!!

The number to call is 513-983-1100.

When you call, a live operator will answer. Just tell the person that you want to leave a comment on the ATWT Luke and Noah storyline. You will then be forwarded to an automated menu. First, press 2 for the ATWT Luke and Noah storyline. Then, press 1 to have their storyline continue.

I know most of you don't watch the show, but the AFA's actions are probably the main reason these two characters have not kissed in seven months until last week. And I know how this community feels about this sort of blatant bigotry. So if it's not too much trouble, could you either call that number or go to CBS's comment form to tell them that the Luke and Noah relationship is important and needs NOT to be censored? And maybe pass the link around?

There are so many of you on my friends list, and so many out there who fight for gay rights. This is an easy enough cause to fight for. All it requires is a supportive note or phone call to CBS. Considering the AFA's behavior, I doubt they get that much. :)

Spotted on IMDb ...

Actor William Baldwin has launched a stinging attack on his younger brother Stephen Baldwin's opposition to equal rights for same-sex couples. The Usual Suspects star Stephen, 41, is the only Republican member of the famous family, and his siblings despair of his conservative views. Eldest brother, Democrat Alec Baldwin, has attempted to change Stephen's mind in the past, and he now has 44-year-old William on his back. Backdraft actor William - who dates a transsexual onscreen in TV show Dirty Sexy Money - tells Out.com of a recent row between the pair: "I asked him, 'Do you think a gay couple should be married? And if not, do you think they deserve access to the same rights on a federal level and state level that you do?' (He responds) 'Because God said and the Bible says that marriage is an institution that exists solely between a man and a woman, blah, blah, blah', and he falls behind that crap. And I said, 'Well if you had a choice - if you and your wife were to die and your kids were still young, and you had a choice between your children being in foster care and potentially being physically and emotionally and sexually abused, as opposed to being adopted by a loving, healthy, caring lesbian or gay couple, what would you rather have?' He couldn't really answer, and I said, 'Thank God Dad isn't here on this earth right now, because he would be so devastated and so horrified.'"

Oh, man, I think I kinda love William Baldwin right now. (Of course I watch Dirty Sexy Money so I already love him, but still.)
