BLARGH.

My mom just called me at nine in the morning to get me to come up the house because the neighbors were selling their old yet comfy couch and she said she'd buy it for me if I wanted it. Which would be nice, because after two and a half years sleeping on the day bed in the living room, passing out on a couch in the living room would be a nice change.

So now I'll have a couch. But not more than four hours of sleep in one go, apparently.

Uh ... what was I just doing?

For some reason I have Little Giants on and they just ran a commercial for The Circuit, in which Michelle Tractenberg is the daughter of a famous race-car driver, and she takes to the track and makes out with Drew Fuller.

I really don't care about the racing thing. All I know is that Michelle Tractenberg and her shiny, shiny hair were kissing Drew Fuller and his incredibly hot scruff on my TV screen and for some reason my brain shorted out for ten seconds.

The downside is that there appears to be some sort of unrequited love interest going on between her character and her twelve-year-old scrawny-as-hell pit boss, or whoever the hell he's supposed to be. What? NO. Drew Fuller is a hot scruffy race-car driver who wants to make out with you. ( I'm sorry, if you don't want this, I'll take it. And get a LOT of use out of it. )

Okay, okay. I'm off to another cookout. Tomorrow I need to do sooooo much writing.

Ugh.

I'm currently halfway through season one of Reaper. I will admit that it did definitely get better after I gave up and got screwed out of giving it a second chance by my work schedule. And I feel a little guilty having deeeeeep thoughts about it, because with all of the SPN wank lately I keep missing the days when it was "People on fire bad, Winchesters pretty!" and it's nice to be completely superficial about a show for a bit. :)

Also, this summer is like my reality TV moment of zen. Maybe I'm not getting my usual fandoms, but I'm getting America's Got Talent, Project Runway, Shear Genius, and today I saw that Ice Road Truckers is coming back again in two weeks. Woohoo!

Could you guys do me a huge favor and maybe buy a DVD or two from my Amazon store? I'm still a little strapped for cash to the point where if I want to go to Hershey this week I'm going to have to ask my mom to give me back the money I gave her towards Wincon, which ... *sigh* I kind of hate my life right now, I swear to God.

I may try to apply at a local place around here that makes military equipment and helmets, which at this point holds a hell of a lot more job security than a CD/DVD factory. Plus, it's day shift and it's a four-day work week with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off, and it pays a buck-fifty more than what I'm making now. The downside is it's quota work. Hmm.
