1. It only took me a little over two hundred entries in the Pairing List before I found one that made me die of squee. I don't want to keep compiling the list! I want to stop and write that story! But I caaaan't. (No, I really can't. I'm not caught up with one of the canons. Bugger.)

2. I had a lot of fun on overtime last night. They don't seem to give you a lot of bullshit if you read as long as your machine is running so I got about a hundred and thirty pages into Phyllida and the Brotherhood of Philander again. (I stopped reading it the first time for a reason that bugged me last time enough to stop, but is only making me fidgety this time. I'll talk about it when I finish, if I remember.)

3. I'm going to try to write my prompt for [livejournal.com profile] apocalyptothon later. Let's see how that works out.

4. I have a splitting headache that started last night at work and hasn't died down much since. Ugh.

True story -- my mother once brought home groceries, including several bags of cat litter, during a thunderstorm. When she was bringing them into the house from the driveway one of the bags got soaked, so when she brought it into our mud room last, she opened it and poured the contents into a large bucket with the intentions of just scooping it into the litter box later.

Rudy, my father's cat, took one look at the bucket, hopped into it, peed, hopped out and walked off.

My mom just shrugged at me and my brother and said, "Well, I can't yell at him for that one."
