I am SO far behind. I think I'm something like 13k behind where I'm supposed to be today.

I'm trying to give myself more ideas to play around with so I can see if something will stick by adding to my list of story ideas. I've added three since this morning. They're really basic, and there's a couple I think would work better as screenplays anyway. But still, better than nothing, I suppose.

BWAHAHAHA.

Veto Corleone posted 15 Amazing Yearbook Photos of U.S. Politicians.

My reactions:

1. Obama got hotter with age.
2. Bush looks like he just stopped by to get his picture taken in between keggers.
3. Is it just me, or does Giuliani look like a more buff Peter Petrelli in that picture?
4. Bwahahaha, Gore looks like Christopher Reeve.
5. Pelosi looked a lot prettier than Palin did in high school.
6. Okay, that picture of Carter makes him look like a serial killer.

In response to that post, Hollywood Fail did 12 Amazing Celebrity Yearbook Photos.

My reactions:

1. Kelly Clarkson was too friggin' cute in high school. Look at that picture. Awwwww!
2. Renee Zellweger isn't squinting in that photo. Huh.
3. Those photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie make me want to write a story where they met in high school, and he was the popular jock, and she was the quiet moody Ally-Sheedy-in-Breakfast-Club girl who passed creative writing class and that was about it, and they have an awesomely awkward secret affair straight out of a never-filmed future season of My So-Called Life. (In that story, Jennifer Aniston is the sulky ex who tells everyone they're fucking under the bleachers to try and get Brad back, but fails miserably and is doomed to eat lunch for the rest of senior year with the incredibly unpopular kids who are starting a Spin Doctors tribute band. I really don't like her, have I mentioned that?)

... okay, so maybe my creative monkeys aren't entirely dead. Or something.

For the record, my yearbook picture was me in a little blue cocktail dress sitting next to my Himalayan. It was one of the few senior pictures that didn't look as if it had been taken in between classes as quickly as possible in the back of the computer lab.
