... is that I can still remember tracking numbers really well and really quickly. Wrote it down, repeated it once, got it set in my head. Why is it not here yet?! *pouts* (Okay, I know why it's not here yet. STILL.)

So, yes. Status of the writer!

I'm ... uh. Well, let's see.

I took a ride to Panera yesterday because the cafe closes early on Sundays and pounded out a few of the kinks in Heroine Addiction. I'm going to try to work on it today at work, but then again, it IS work and it's busy on Mondays, so I'm not even sure how much I'm going to be able to get done.

Also, I think I have my NaNo idea picked out. I took that "what if the vampires took over?" idea and played with it a bit, and I think I could get a really great YA novel out of it if I play my cards right. It's a good thing I have a few weeks until NaNo starts, though, because it's going to require a metric crapload of worldbuilding, even considering my usual.

And I have no freakin' CLUE what I might want for Yuletide. I may just let other people nominate fandoms and then make myself come up with something on the fly when submissions come along. The only thing I could come up with on my own is that since Lost in Austen is the only time I've ever liked Wickham and Lydia, I kinda want to see them realistically hook up in that 'verse. But I'm not even sure I want that much. Eh, I'll know what I want when I see what the options are.

In non-writing-related news, I've been watching a few more episodes of True Blood. I ... really don't like Sookie. I'm starting to remember why I stopped reading the books, too. And yet I keep watching, mostly because I'm this far gone so I might as well finish. Oh, television, why can't you give me new fandoms I want to stick with for a change?

In summation, I'd be horribly tempted to drive to Newark and get my netbook if I thought I could actually get my grubby paws on it when I got there.
