I haven't started working on my NaNo yet -- breakfast first, then writing. I don't know ... I'm just going to sit down after I eat and whichever muse shows up first and with the most enthusiasm, that's the one that's getting written.

I use this icon far too often. If only it weren't appropriate.

(I think my favorite part of that article is describing Rachel as "the geeky girl." Really? Really? You couldn't even reach for "the Jewish girl" or "a girl with two dads" in describing the cast's diversity?)

Twelve hours into NaNo and I still have no freaking clue which one of the ones I started and didn't get very far into I want to stick with. I got the farthest with the cheesy snarky gay romance, but that was only four hundred words or so. I think I'll try later, but now that I'm all wound up and ready to write, I'm going to hit Heroine Addiction and see if I can get a little more done.

I turned down a trip to the mall with my mom to write and didn't get a damn thing done. Hmph. (I didn't have any money but to be fair, I think my mom wanted to haul me along to help with Christmas presents.)

I think the big silly slutty gay romance is going to end up being my NaNo novel. In which case, here's the first sentence:

2. And looks like Adam Lambert.
3. Therefore, I blame ficangel. :D
