Ye Olde Previous Place Of Employment called me this morning -- or at least a lady from the benefits office called -- to say that they hadn't received my payment for October for my COBRA and they wanted to know if I wanted to cancel. My payment for October. As in, the one due at the end of September. Wow, way to keep up, jackasses.

I made chicken fried rice this morning! From scratch! It actually turned out really good, too. Now all I have to do is make a huge batch of pork fried rice and figure out how to make that brown sauce that comes on shrimp and broccoli and it's entirely possible I'll never eat anything else ever again.

Also, for about five minutes yesterday, they had a blurb about Jensen and Danneel's engagement on Yahoo OMG!. Which was a little hilarious, because the only time I've ever seen anything SPN-related on there was when Paris Hilton guest-starred.

Oh, oh! They're having a midnight showing on 2012 on Thursday night, and I think I'm going to go. It depends when my unemployment decides to show up in my account. I want to go so badly. I think a midnight showing is the only time I'm going to find people I know outside of the internet who are as giddy about this movie as I am.
