Did you ever read criticism of a fic and be like, "Did you even read that fanfic?" 'Cause somehow this morning I stumbled onto criticism for a fic where I was like, "That ... wasn't actually the plot of that fic."

Also, I clicked onto the anon meme for some reason and discovered all I write anymore is femmeslash. Surprised the hell out of me, since today I'm posting the third femmeslash I've written ... um, ever, if I remember correctly.

Dude, where's all the femmeslash I wrote? I want to read some.

(Speaking of today's third femmeslash ever, I'm posting it after work because [livejournal.com profile] ileliberte needs more time to work on the art. What I've seen so far is very cool, so I can't wait to see the finished product. ;))

EDIT: Ooo, ooo! I think I wrote Pushing Daisies Olive/Chuck comment fic somewhere. That's four. Yup, there it is.

Things I need to deal with this week:

-- I have a dentist appointment Thursday at 7:45 in the morning.
-- I need to deal with the car stuff today.
-- I have to get in touch with the bankruptcy lawyer sometime this week.
-- I need to wait for Wegman's to call me back to schedule an interview. *crosses fingers*
-- I need to wait for the therapists' office to call me back so they can schedule me in and start popping me full of antidepressants.

Oh, YAY. This week I will be playing the role of The Responsible Adult. Unfortunately the role does not require party hats, funny costumes, or performing animals. Which is probably just as well because with my luck I'd poke my eye out with the party hat and be attacked by the dancing bear before the matador costume finally chokes me to death.

I have to make a note of what I'm watching this week on TV or I will completely freaking forget.

Tuesday: AGT at 8:00 p.m. for two hours, Glee at 9 p.m. for one hour
Wednesday: SYTYCD at 8:00 p.m. for two hours
Thursday: SYTYCD at 9:00 p.m. for one hour

Honestly, it's that short at this point and I need a LIST. Last week I forgot about Glee and ... well, it actually didn't bother me all that much, so this week I'll probably hold off on watching and enjoy America's Parade of Weirdos on NBC.

I also still haven't watched the last three episodes of Doctor Who, even though they're sitting on my hard drive waiting to be watched. I was saving them until I got finished editing Heroine Addiction, and then that turned into a clusterfuck, and then I was just going to say, "Fuck it," and watch them all last night but after that bullshit with the car ... yeah, screw that, I'd rather not drive myself completely into a nervous breakdown right now.

No, really.

Convince me not to call in sick today so I can spend the entire day browbeating the bank, the dealership and my mom into dealing with the whole car situation TODAY.

So here's how the morning's gone so far:

-- Turned in the car at the dealership with the impression that I don't plan on paying for them to fix what they didn't finish fixing in the first place. Was later told by the salesman that it was basically just a matter of something needing to be loosened. IDEK.

-- Checked with the salesman and was directed to a nice Cobalt that's basically my brother's car in blue. It's actually really nice, and I did like my brother's car while I was driving it, so I've developed a tentative crush on it.

-- After careful figuring, was given a prospective car payment of $140 bucks a month. I could work with that.

-- Headed down to the bank, and dealt with two problems on the way down there: I checked with my mom to make sure she'd co-sign just in case (which I hated to ask), and I called off work. I was trying to hurry so that I could still go, but the problem is that I can't answer my cell phone at work and the way my schedule is set up there's no way I'd be able to get this done by myself by the end of the day without taking the day off. The good thing is that after doing the math I'll be okay budget-wise. Not brilliant, mind you, but okay.

-- Talked to the loan officer at the bank, who gave us the last loan. She knows me and my mom, so that's a plus, and while my name was never on the last loan she knows I was the one making the payments and I never missed one. But I have a feeling my mom will end up co-signing again, which sucks.

So hopefully by the end of the day I will have a new car. Fingers crossed! :)

Okay, maybe not.

I talked to the loan officer and she said that as it stands right now, I could not get a loan in my name (although I could still get one if my mom co-signs).

However, the reason for that is that the student loans I've been paying have not shown up on my credit report. So if I can get them to fax her the paperwork on that, I may be able to get a loan! In MY name!

*crosses fingers, toes, and whatever else I can manage*

Okay, so.

Who knows something about banking and loans?

Here's the thing. My loan officer wants to see paperwork in regards to the program I'm in to rehabilitate my student loans. I spoke with the guy from the company which is managing the account, and according to him he can requisition a letter but it won't process for 1-2 weeks.

That said, also according to him, my rehabilitation ends as of next month's payment and the default information comes off my credit history. I have a copy of the letter I receive every month from the company telling me how much they're withdrawing and the account number and my current balance, I have a copy of the contract I signed with them, and I have a copy of my bank statement, in which there is a scan of the monthly deduction they take out with their name on it, since they process it as a check.

Given all of that information, should I be okay? I'm basically right on the border of getting the loan in my name according to my loan officer, but if worst comes to worst I'll get my mom to co-sign and see about getting her name off the loan the next chance I get.
