They are letting us work from 8 AM to 10 PM all week long, and I'm going to be there for all of it. And that's not counting Saturday.
I cannot imagine why I'm behind on my NaNo. I've got all of the free time in the wooooooorld! (Heh.)
As it stands, I may cancel my vacation days for the 29th and 30th and work those days instead. It all depends on just how the whole catching-up-on-my-word-count thing works out. If I'm close enough those two days, I'll stay the hell home and try to win. If Sunday night rolls around and I'm nowhere near the end, I'll just say, "Screw it," and go the hell to work.
Speaking of work, I spent the vast majority of today on the phones, aaaaand half of that time waiting for a phone call. I sat there for four straight hours waiting for a phone call, and ... nothin'. My supervisor finally just sighed and took me off the phones, since apparently the computers didn't want to direct any my way. Aw, shucks! *disappointed finger snap* I so wanted to spend the entire day debating insurances rates with elderly people on fixed incomes! (Oh, wait, I forgot. I'll get loads of opportunities to do that for the next month and a half. *grumbles*)
Also, still haven't watched this week's SPN. Not because I don't want to, mind you, but because the God of Overtime and Lady NaNo have gone out back with a rusty shiv and a broken wine bottle to fight to the death over the rights to my every waking moment. I have no idea who to root for. On one hand, the God of Overtime gives me money, but on the other hand Lady NaNo is wearing a fetching if scant dress made entirely out of rejection letters.
